FAQ

Quick answers to common questions about uploading, sharing, and managing your files.

UploadingSharing and downloadsManaging filesSafety and retention

Uploading

Do I need an account to upload?

Yes. Uploading requires a free account so every file has an owner, a file panel, and a public folder link you can share. New accounts also need approval from our team before they can upload: open the Upload page, choose Open a ticket, and send the prefilled request.

How does upload approval work?

Every new account is reviewed before its first upload to keep malware and abuse off the platform. You send a request from the Upload page, our team reviews your account, and the Upload page opens up once it is approved.

What are the upload limits?

Up to 3 GB per file and 200 files per batch. Anything larger is blocked before uploading. During the first 7 days after approval, an account can upload up to 2 GB per day, and its files go public only after a clean security scan. After that there is no daily cap. Our team can adjust these limits for individual accounts.

Can I upload several files at once?

Yes. Select or drag multiple files into the upload area and they are queued automatically.

Sharing and downloads

Are my files public once uploaded?

Each upload gets a public link. Anyone with the link can open the download page. Put files that should stay restricted in a password-protected folder.

Can I password-protect my files?

Yes, per folder. In Files, open the folder’s menu, choose Password, and set one. Visitors enter it before they can see the files.

Is there a download speed limit?

No artificial cap. Real speed depends on the visitor’s connection, device, and region.

Managing files

How do I organize or rename files?

In Files you can create folders, move files between them, and rename anything at any time.

How do I delete a file?

Open Files, find the file, and delete it. The public link stops working immediately.

Can I see how many times my file was downloaded?

Yes. Download counts and recent activity are available for every file from the file panel.

Safety and retention

What file types are blocked?

Executable and known-unsafe extensions are rejected at upload. The form shows the blocked type when this happens.

How do I report abusive content?

Every public file page has a Report abuse action. Reports are reviewed by the admin team and unsafe files are removed.

How long do files stay online?

A file stays online while it keeps being downloaded. If a file has no download for 5 days, it is removed automatically; the 5 days start at the upload when the file was never downloaded. Flagged or reported files may be removed sooner. Our team can set a different period for individual accounts.

Support by ticket. Open a ticket from your panel and talk to the team in one thread, linked to the file it is about.
