This Privacy Policy explains how BlazeUpload handles information when you visit the site, create an account, upload files, share links, use support, or interact with our security and moderation systems.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as your name or username, email address, account credentials, support messages, payment or withdrawal details when applicable, and any information included in contact forms or tickets.
We also process uploaded files, folder names, file names, public link settings, download activity, referral activity, points activity, device and browser information, IP addresses, logs, cookies, security events, and other technical data needed to operate the service.
Access records: the IP address, date, time and browser of your sign-ins and visits, kept for at least 6 months as required by Brazilian law (Marco Civil da Internet).
Identity data for payouts: legal name, date of birth and country. We don't ask for documents or photos.
2. How we use information
- To provide file hosting, uploads, previews, public links, downloads, account management, support, referrals, points, and withdrawals.
- To secure the service, detect abuse, scan or moderate files, investigate reports, enforce policies, and prevent fraud.
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, operational notices, legal matters, and service updates.
- To measure performance, troubleshoot errors, improve features, maintain records, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Uploaded files and public links
Files you upload may contain personal information. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to upload, store, and share those files. Avoid uploading sensitive personal information unless it is necessary and you are authorized to do so.
Anyone with a public link may be able to access the linked file or folder, depending on the sharing settings. We may access, scan, restrict, preserve, or remove files when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, support, or service operation.
4. Sharing and disclosures
We may share information with service providers that help us operate hosting, storage, security, analytics, support, infrastructure, payments, or communications. These providers are expected to use information only to provide services to us.
We may disclose information when required by law, legal process, rights-holder requests, law enforcement, fraud prevention, security investigations, enforcement of our terms, protection of users, or a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell the contents of uploaded files.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, protect forms, prevent abuse, measure service performance, and operate essential platform features.
You may control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies can prevent sign-in, uploads, contact forms, and other core features from working correctly.
6. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain account history, support downloads, process withdrawals, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, prevent abuse, and preserve security or audit records.
Files and account data may remain in backups, logs, legal holds, moderation records, or audit systems for a limited period after deletion when retention is necessary for security, compliance, or legitimate operational purposes.
Access records are deleted after 7 months unless they are needed for an ongoing investigation or legal hold.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use strong credentials, protect your account, and share public links carefully.
8. Your choices
You may update account information, manage files and links, remove uploaded content, adjust available settings, or contact us to request help with access, deletion, correction, or privacy questions.
Some requests may be limited by legal obligations, security requirements, fraud prevention, unresolved disputes, payment records, backups, audit logs, or the rights of others.
9. Children
BlazeUpload is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us so we can review the request.
10. Updates and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service, laws, or operational practices change. Questions about privacy or data handling should be submitted through the Contact page.
